The crown stays with Ben

Congrats to Ben Maier, who earned the crown with 195.3 by blending a few smash chalk pieces with one pristine dart. The headliners did their thing — Puka Nacua (37.5), Christian McCaffrey (29.4), and Jordan Love (33.0) — but the decisive swing was a solo bullet on Jalen Coker, who erupted for 31.4 at just 2.9% drafted. Even with a dud from Dalton Schultz (4.2), Ben’s combo of ceiling plays and a unique hammer made the difference.

The chase pack

Cameron Mahoney took second at 183.1, riding Puka Nacua, Christian McCaffrey, and a big boost from Colston Loveland (26.7). A quiet day from Josh Jacobs (6.8) and middling Christian Watson (12.6) kept him from truly threatening the top. Casey Oliver rounded out the podium at 176.6, powered by Texans D/ST (27) and Parker Washington (26.9), but a painful Rico Dowdle (2.5) likely cost him a late push.

Chalk, landmines, and leverage

• The mega-chalk delivered: Puka Nacua (37.5, 58.8% drafted) was a near must-have, while Christian McCaffrey (29.4, 35.3%) kept lineups on track.
• The week’s best leverage came from Ben’s unique Jalen Coker (31.4), and from backing Jordan Love (33.0) over the more popular Trevor Lawrence (21.4, 35.3%).
• Popular traps stung a lot of rosters: Stefon Diggs (3.6, 20.6%), A.J. Brown (5.5), and Nico Collins (5.1) dragged teams down, as did the Bears D/ST (1.0).
• At tight end, Colston Loveland (26.7, 35.3%) was a positional cheat code. Remarkably, Ben won without him — thanks to ceiling elsewhere.

Notes from the slate

Mid-tier volume monsters like Parker Washington (26.9) and solid RB lines from Saquon Barkley (19.1) and Travis Etienne Jr. (22.6) kept many entries afloat. Meanwhile, Texans D/ST (27) created a clear separation tier for those who rostered them.

Bottom line: Ben didn’t just win — he landed the one play almost no one had and paired it with the right chalk. That’s how you earn the crown.
