Bordes Control: Michael rides Olave and Kittle to the crown

Royal lineup

Congrats to Michael Bordes, who earned the crown with 192.6 and a low chalk rating (8.8). He stacked haymakers everywhere: a monster from Chris Olave (39.8), vintage dominance by George Kittle (27.5), and a smash from James Cook III (29.4). Value plays mattered too—Kenneth Gainwell (23.8) and sleeper tight end Harold Fannin Jr. (19.5) were difference-makers, while even a modest Rams D/ST (6) and solid lines from DJ Moore (21.9) and Michael Wilson (13.2) kept his floor high. He did it despite a quiet day from C.J. Stroud (11.5).

The chase

Bryan Daley (169.8) took silver on the back of the right chalk in Justin Herbert (33.2) plus the same Olave heater, and rounded out a steady build with Saquon Barkley (24.2) and Michael Wilson (13.2). Evan Devoe (155.4) grabbed third with Herbert, Olave, and De'Von Achane (18.0), but the popular DK Metcalf (8.2) held back ceiling across a big chunk of the field. Special shout to Kyle Gagnon (8th) for squeezing value out of single-bullet Bryce Young (17.6) and another Kittle spike.

Chalk check

The room flocked to DK Metcalf (34% drafted, 8.2) and Jameson Williams (32%, 12.0), and it showed in the middle of the leaderboard. Meanwhile, the right chalk popped: Justin Herbert (33.2), Bijan Robinson (29.8), and Saquon Barkley (24.2) all paid off. The week’s ultimate one-off was Puka Nacua (49.5)—only Brian Salisbury drafted him, but pairing him with Marcus Mariota (3.7) capped his run at 27th. Another lone hammer, Joe Burrow (32.0), couldn’t pull Dwayne Richter higher than 22nd after a few misses around him.

Busts and bad beats

A handful of landmines reshuffled earnings: TreVeyon Henderson (2.2) submarined several lineups, Kareem Hunt (0.2) stung his two backers, and Gardner Minshew II (1.4) made life tough for Sean O’Neil and Alycia Holmes. Lamar Jackson (4.7) gave Nick Inzerillo no shot. Somehow, Kristyn Morrison still snuck into the money line (19th) despite the Colts D/ST posting -1.0.
